Dunmore - Before and After School Care
Prairie Rose School Division is excited to announce that starting September 2018, a Before and After School Care Program will be available to families living in the Dunmore and Irvine areas.
In partnership with the YMCA, Prairie Rose is pleased to be able to offer this new opportunity to children living in Dunmore and attending school in Irvine. Students attending the program will be dropped off and picked up by parents at a newly renovated facility, located next door to the Prairie Rose School Division Office, and bused to and from Irvine School.
“There is a clear need for a Before and After School Program in Dunmore,” says Superintendent Roger Clarke. “We have many parents working in Medicine Hat. Driving to Irvine for after school care isn’t realistic. Prairie Rose is thrilled to now offer this service to our families, as we know how challenging it can be to find care for children after school hours.”
On June 27, the YMCA will be at Irvine School to answer any questions from parents about the new BASP program.
