Ralston School Remembrance Day Service

Ralston School held their Remembrance Day Service on Thursday, November 7th in the school gym. The Grade's 2,3,4, & 5 children did an amazing performance with the songs they sang, and also Jayne Hackett on her solo performance of  In Flanders Fields. A huge thank you to Mrs Kraft who played the piano and also practising the songs with the children. Thank you also to Mrs C Williams for playing Last Post & Reveille.

Cameron Brazier, Hannah Cameron-Ross read poems `Lest we Forget` and `Never Forget`.

Abbey Wright, Caitlin McCulloch also read `Why we Remember` their personal feelings on why its important to wear a poppy and remember those that fought for our freedom and still do today.

Every year George Hope, Joe Brair and Howard Osgood come to the school, they fought in WWII and spend the day with the children talking about their experiences in the war.

We thank all our guests from CFB Suffield, BATUS, Veterans, and parents for attending our Service of Remembrance

We have more pictures in our Mulitmedia section on the School Website.
