The Great Kids Award recognizes children and youth, ages five to 18, who have made positive contributions while overcoming life hardships. These include managing a physical or mental illness, standing up against bullying or overcoming other difficult life circumstances. Still, these young people have gone above and beyond for others and their communities.
The Minister of Human Services will send all nominees a certificate and letter of recognition. Award recipients will also receive:
